01 — Lore
Once the proudest warrior of Heaven, Gabriel's defeat at the hands of a mere machine shattered the very foundations of his identity. Stripped of his title and cast aside by the Council, he chose destruction over surrender — slaughtering the very beings he once served.
In the depths of Hell, Gabriel faced V1 and lost. The archangel, who had never known failure, was bested by a machine built for war — a construct of metal and oil, not divine will. This defeat was not just physical; it was an existential annihilation.
The Council of Heaven branded Gabriel a failure. His honor, his purpose, his divine right to rule — all dissolved in a single moment of weakness. The weight of their judgment became the fuel for his apocalypse.
Gabriel turned his blades upon the Council. Every member who had ever questioned his worth, every voice that had whispered of his inadequacy — silenced. Heaven's blood painted the marble halls in crimson.
Now reborn as the Apostle of Hate, Gabriel embraces the very fury that once defined him as "impure." He is no longer bound by duty or justice — only by the raw, primal need to prove his supremacy.
02 — Combat
Where his first incarnation fought with measured discipline, the Apostate of Hate abandons all restraint. His attacks are faster, more aggressive, and designed to overwhelm.
Wields twin blades with terrifying speed, chaining melee combos that force constant movement. Each strike carries the weight of his fury — parrying is possible but demands perfect timing.
Combines both blades and hurls them in a horizontal arc with subtle tracking. If they miss, he teleports them back — a relentless assault that never truly ends.
Teleports aggressively to close distance or flank mid-combo, breaking the player's rhythm. His movement is chaotic and unpredictable, making every encounter a test of reflexes.
Reduced cooldowns and increased mobility compared to his first fight. On Violent difficulty and above, additional attack variations make his patterns even harder to predict.
